Spec: ahrim (even msb (i) spec, or dds, but ideally claws) Melee: skeletons, bloodworms for kc. Karil the Tainted is the fourth oldest of the Barrows brothers. Karil's crypt is located to the south of the Barrows area. He uses ranged equipment, which make him vulnerable to Melee attacks. Also unlike a player using his equipment, he is also fairly weak to Magic attacks. Compared to a magic shortbow (i) with amethyst arrows (the best arrows it can use) karils crossbow/bolt racks have 9 higher attack bonus, same range strength as amethyst arrows, a longer attack range, and same attack speed; so its already a slightly better weapon for about same cost (55 per bolt rack vs [360*0.2] per arrow with assembler, add 6gp/shot for repair cost for just crossbow, or 30gp ... Karil's crossbow is also great because you often you don't need to bother with wearing Ava's Accumulator because often the +4 range bonus isn't enough to warrant bring an extra item switch at G.Guardians and Demonics. Dump your Dds specs on ahrim instead. Really though you should reconsider your gear, Mage: all melee brothers, karil. Range: ahrim. Spec: ahrim (even msb (i) spec, or dds, but ideally claws) Melee: skeletons, bloodworms for kc. Or if you’re BPing you can get kc with bp and not bring melee gear at all. .
